iessi

IESSI is a contemporary alcohol-free aperitif inspired by a traditional Italian family recipe. The name “iessi” comes from Friulian, the regional language of Friuli Venezia Giulia in northeast Italy, meaning “to be, to exist,” reflecting the drink’s mindful, modern character.

Created by founder Nicolas, IESSI was born from a desire to capture the complex bittersweet flavours of classic Italian amaro while intentionally removing alcohol. It is crafted from natural botanical extracts and infusions, combining ginger, gentian root, bitter orange peel and rhubarb with bright citrus and cherry notes.

IESSI is enjoyed as an alcohol-free aperitif — served over ice, with a slice of lemon, or as part of contemporary cocktail rituals — blending Italian flavour heritage with a conscious approach to drinking.
