Mel Andrel designs products that consciously bridge the spaces of work and home – a seamless blur between productivity and play. As a designer, creative director and mixed-media artist born in New Jersey and now based in Portland, Maine, Mel shifted away from the traditional 9-to-5 model to craft a path better aligned with how they work best. Their work starts in the small details, where functionality meets levity, and everyday objects become expressive companions.
