Ana Seixas

Ana Seixas is a Portuguese illustrator and ceramic artist, born in 1984 in Viseu, Portugal. She studied Design at the University of Aveiro and continued with postgraduate studies in Editorial Design and Illustration in Barcelona before dedicating herself fully to her own artistic practice from 2012 onwards.

Her work is characterised by colourful compositions, bold shapes and playful characters, reflecting a joyful and imaginative approach. She creates illustrations for books, magazines and campaigns, while also developing her own printed editions, illustrated objects and handmade ceramics.

In 2020, she opened a studio shop in central Porto, where she and a small team create, present and sell her work.

Ana Seixas ist eine portugiesische Illustratorin und Keramikkünstlerin, geboren 1984 in Viseu, Portugal. Sie studierte Design an der Universität Aveiro und spezialisierte sich anschließend in Editorial Design und Illustration in Barcelona, bevor sie sich ab 2012 ihrer eigenen künstlerischen Arbeit widmete.

Ana liebt Farbe, kühne Formen und verspielte Figuren – ihr Stil ist lebendig, charmant und von Freude am Kreativen geprägt. Sie arbeitet sowohl an Illustrationsprojekten für Bücher, Magazine und Kampagnen als auch an der Entwicklung eigener Kunst- und Produktserien, darunter druckgrafische Editionen, illustrierte Objekte und handgefertigte Keramik.

2020 eröffnete sie einen Atelier-Shop im Zentrum von Porto, wo sie gemeinsam mit einem kleinen Team ihre Arbeiten zeigt, produziert und vertreibt.
