"The iconic American surf documentary `The Endless Summer` (1966) and The Beach Boys sparked off
an entire movement of good vibrations in California during the 1960s. Once the privilege of Hawaiian
royalty, surfing today is more than riding waves: it’s a lifestyle. Recently, professional big wave
surfer Nic Von Rupp invited me to encounter the ambiance of his native Nazaré , a coastal town situated
on the Atlantic Ocean in Portugal. With its beautiful raw rock formations, magnificent swells, and air
characterised by salty sea winds, it made a profound impact on me. Atlântico EdP by 19-69 is inspired
by the renowned coordinates 308° NWN, famed for its towering waves near Nazaré ́s coast."

ist ein Lebensstil. Kürzlich hat mich der Profi-Big-Wave-Surfer Nic Von Rupp eingeladen, die
Atmosphäre seiner Heimatstadt Nazaré zu erleben, einer Küstenstadt am Atlantik in Portugal.
Mit ihren wunderschönen rohen Felsformationen, den gewaltigen Wellen und der salzigen Meeresluft

(EN:) Cosmetic cult brand 19-69 was founded by the Swedish artist and product developer Johan Bergelin.
A twenty-four month long creative process with artisans in Scandinavia, France and Italy lead to the launch of 5 perfumes in 2017.
INSPIRATION
Johan Bergelin: “I have always surrounded myself with creative people, personal friends as well as professional. What has always inspired me is how these artists very often stand up for their values. They want to make a difference. This can be made in endless ways: a mural painting, a sculpture, photos or music lyrics. You may or may not personally agree, but it takes guts to stand up for your beliefs and who you are, and I do respect that. I think this is what planted a seed in me and was the beginning of 19-69.
PRODUCT QUALITY
Each scent is inspired by a different era, culture or setting from Africa, Europe, the States and Asia. Art, music, trends and cultures have all left their marks on the fragrances both in terms of content, name and packaging. All fragrances are suitable for any gender.
The glass bottles are varnished and screen printed in Italy. Each 19-69 product is handmade, therefore small variations should be considered part of the character. All raw ingredients are carefully considered and selected to ensure the finest quality. For each scent there is a unique fragrance journey.
VALUES AND SYMBOLISM
The name 19-69 stands for freedom, tolerance and counterculture. The inspiration includes different iconic moments of counterculture throughout history.
Art, music and different cultures have also left their marks on the products in terms of content, names and packaging. The different colors symbolize a rainbow which in 1969 stood for peace and freedom.

Ein vierundzwanzigmonatiger kreativer Prozess mit Kunsthandwerkern in Skandinavien, Frankreich und Italien führte 2017 zur Lancierung von 5 Parfums.
INSPIRATION
Johan Bergelin: „Ich habe immer umgeben mich mit kreativen Menschen, persönliche Freunde als auch als professionelle. Was mich immer inspiriert hat, ist, wie diese Künstler oft für ihre Werte einstehen. Sie wollen etwas bewirken. Dies kann in endlosen Möglichkeiten gemacht werden: ein Wandgemälde, eine Skulptur, Fotos oder Musik Texte. Sie können oder auch nicht persönlich zustimmen, aber es nimmt Mut, für Ihre Überzeugungen stehen und wer Sie sind, und ich respektieren, dass. Ich glaube, das war es, was in mir den Samen gepflanzt hat und der Anfang von 19-69 war.
